When I decorate it like so much of myself as possible. I think using my own hands to create my decor makes my home feel like home, unless as a place to to live. So the paint and stain my own furniture and try to create as much of my own artwork as possible.
One of my favorite things is my accent pieces totally mine, so I learned to make my own curtain rings. Here are some of the ways I've done it:
Using office equipment age. The rubber bands are obviously a bit inefficient, but there are plenty of other office supplies you can use. A clip chain is a solution, but my absolute favorite DIY curtain rings are made of clips folder. Incredibly easy to replace and reuse and provide a large steel industrial look without much effort.
Bracelets Using age. This involves a little cut, so do not do it with any sale that is not willing to sacrifice. However, curtain rings bracelet offers a touch of home and great care to any room.
I have used friendship bracelets age (cut into them, the tie in the shade, then closing with a pin or sew closed), Bangles (cutting and folding wide enough for the curtain to fit), and jelly bracelets (cut and then closed again later with a little hot glue). Using Necklaces age.
Many, like bracelets, but with the added advantage of having a little long. Beads are especially great for curtain rings – only eliminate half of the accounts and then fasten them. Simple and elegant!
Use scraps of fabric. If you are a craftsman like me probably have a lot of old pieces of cloth around, dying to be used for something. Restatement of objectives such as curtain rings makes little sense, especially If you used some of the fabrics to make curtains! Creates a large matching is both subtle and "surprise". You should also consider attractive items such as Uhrenmotive or Zubehör von Ipuro
Use old tape. A lot Like above, but with the tape curtain rings instead of the cloth. Ideal for those tapes that you saved for Christmas presents for the year. I think these work great well in rooms with children – if they break they are super easy to replace without a lot of work. Decorate the existing curtain rings. Put glue gun Use a good hot! I've had great success attaching bulging eyes, seashells, or even unattractive.
Especially great for the shower curtain rings, which should be waterproof and to challenge the use of fabric, ribbon, etc. really bulging eyes make the kids smile, so use at your bathroom and make fun of the shower.
When I make sure to bring decorate a lot of personality in any room, I hope you do the same. So feel free to mix and match the above or get their own way. The important thing to remember is that with a little work its curtain rings can be totally fantastic.
